Biography

The Georgia native is a first-generation attorney. Cassidy has a dog named Tank that she spends the majority of her time with outside of work. During law school, Cassidy worked as a lead legal research assistant for the Jones School of Law Elder Law Clinic. She is passionate about the elderly in her community and volunteers for the Montgomery Area Council on Aging’s Meals on Wheels program. Cassidy participated in a number of on-site pro bono events where she drafted estate planning documents for the low-income elderly in rural areas of Alabama during her time with the Elder Law Clinic.

Education

Cassidy earned her Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alabama in 2018, with a double minor in Computer Technical Applications and Sociology.

Following undergrad, Cassidy attended Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where she served as Events Chair of the Board of Advocates. She participated in the Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition and the National Appellate Advocacy Competition as a 2L during law school. Cassidy was recognized for her outstanding academic achievement on the Jones School of Law Dean’s List in 2020. She was additionally recognized as a Public Interest Fellow for her pro bono work throughout law school and is passionate about community service. Cassidy also served as 3L Honor Court Justice of the Jones School of Law Honor Court, 1L Student Bar Association Senator, and was a Phi Alpha Delta Society member.
