Get the relief you need!

I’m sure we can help you to get some relief just like we have helped many other people drastically improve their financial condition.  There are 2 different types of bankruptcy for individuals and they are called Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.  Both types of may allow you to either keep or surrender certain property and dispose of certain debts, but the type you actually file depends on your personal circumstances and certain eligibility requirements.  Both types can save a lot of money.  Each case is different and it is carefully evaluated by Mr. Courtney to place you in the type of bankruptcy that best meets your personal situation.  He is available for a free consultation if you would like to set up an appointment with him either in person or by phone (then set up the appointment, at this point you may not have to go further.  If they want more explanation or if you feel the need to elaborate, the information below may help).

There are exceptions but generally, Chapter 7 cases are for people who want to dispose of all of their debt, but they don’t own much property or they don’t have much equity in the property that they do own and they are caught up on the payments on the property they want to keep.  Also, Chapter 7 cases are for people who simply want to give up certain property and dispose of all of their debts.  Chapter 13 cases are generally for people who either have a lot of equity in property that they want to keep, or they are behind on property they want to keep and may be trying to avoid a foreclosure or repossession.  In Chapter 13 cases you propose a plan to the court where you make affordable monthly payments to catch up on anything you want to keep and in most instances pay only a portion of the debt you may owe to your unsecured creditors.

We won’t know for sure which type of bankruptcy you would eligible for until we get more specific information about you.  Would you like to set up an appointment to meet with Mr. Courtney?  The consultation is free and he can meet with you personally or by phone.
